The Richmond Youth Honour Choir has become an amazing choral organization, performing on CBC, CTV, at the Olympics, at River Rock Theater, as well as giving numerous local concerts. We have sung with the Richmond Orchestra, the VSO, the National Arts Orchestra and the Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra. Our choirs have shared the stage with Charlotte Diamond, and with choirs from White Rock, Edmonton and Vancouver. On Canada Day 2009 we joined our voices with choirs from across Canada and thrilled audiences in Ottawa. The joy, enthusiasm and musical growth of our singers is tangible in our rehearsals and performances.

We rehearse on Wednesdays from the end of September to the end of April. The Elementary Choir rehearses from 4:00 - 5:30 PM and the Chamber Choir rehearses from 6:00 - 7:30PM. There is no better place than this to learn about singing, develop poise and confidence and to be part of beautiful music.

• Performance at the Opening Ceremonies of the 2011 World Senior Badminton Championships
• 2010 Olympics at the Richmond Ozone, at YVR and on CTV
• Performance for the Emperor and Empress of Japan at Olympic Oval 2009
• Unisong Choral Fest in Ottawa 2009, performing with choirs from all of Canada accompanied by the National Arts Orchestra
• Performance with sister city Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra at River Rock Theatre 2009
• Performance at the opening of the Olympic Speed Skating Oval in December, 2009 • Performances at the Orpheum under the direction of Maestro Bramwell Tovey, accompanied by the VSO
• Joint concert with Charlotte Diamond
• Joint concerts with the Richmond Music School Orchestra, Richmond Singers and Richmond Community Choir, Richmond Community and Legion Band
• Performances at conferences, community events, conferences and senior's homes
